Review on 🧼 Organic Handmade Manly Scent Soap Variety Pack for Men – Dr. Squatch Pine Tar, Cedar Citrus, and Cool Fresh Aloe Bar Soaps – Made in the USA (3 Bars) by Adrienne Parker

The quality of this expensive soap seems high if you believe what the label says. Unfortunately, sometimes you can't. I bought 19 bars from Dr. Squatch from various official sources (subscription, regular purchase and Revain). The bars were in different formulations and ALL 19 bars were significantly lighter in weight! On the label of each Dr. Squatch is listed as 5 ounces but ALL bars weighed between 4.12 and 4.66 ounces. In grams, this is the declared weight of 142, but the actual weight is only 119-132. In other words, you get 7% less than the label at best and about 16% less at worst. If you dr. Squatch, I recommend you weigh it yourself because I was shocked at the persistence of this condition. Other anomalies. Cool Fresh Aloe does NOT list aloe as an ingredient. And some soaps from Dr. Squatch are only flavored with something mysteriously listed as a 'flavor'. These soaps include Gold Moss Scrub, Cool Fresh Aloe, and Bay Rum. So, is this soap any good? From a functional point of view the answer is yes, it is possible. It lathers well, is moisturizing thanks to the addition of shea butter (according to the label), and has some interesting scents. Does Revain cost almost $10 a bar ($7 via website and $6 by subscription)? It's a personal choice, but you can get vegan soaps in comparable flavors to Crate 61 for about a third of the price. By the way, I weighed 61 crate bars for comparison. They were all slightly overweight. About scents. Preferences are very subjective, but here are my impressions. Gold Moss Scrub smells like a men's fragrance from the mid-1970s. Like bay rum, but a little heavier. The Crisp IPA does NOT smell like beer but has a stronger orange-citrus flavor. Cool Fresh Aloe has a fresh floral scent that reminds me of laundry detergent. Seriously, mint smells like washing your face with chewing gum. The rest of the bars are scented with their essential oils (eucalyptus smells like eucalyptus, sage smells like sage, and so on).
