Received the 2nd Gen Echo Dot Dock today. I charged it up and streamed music for the last 2 hours with no battery or audio issues. It's a good dock and goes well with my decor. As you can see from the picture, it's not much bigger than an aroma wax heater. And gray worked best for me. The bass is powerful and clear, as are the mids. I am by no means a musical snob! Just asking I can get a good solid sound with the Kick and it works great. Not at all compared to my Bose speakers in the car, but it sounds good! I use it exclusively in our bedroom for better sound quality as a standalone spot for a small area. When I took it outside it still played great sound, the ONLY issue I had was the connection to the router dropped. Not the docks fault, obviously I was out of range. When reconnected, the battery was charged and the sound wasn't lost due to the background noise you usually hear in the neighborhood. I will update this review when I have it a little longer. I will keep it plugged in to use the Gen 2 echo dot as a better sounding echo device than a single dot.
