bad tank; Worst customer service

The tank assembly looks good but has many flaws. They only have one plug for night and daylight, so you have to turn them on and off manually. thus, it defeats the purpose of a surge protector with a built-in timer. The cap doesn't fit snugly and they don't provide enough access to the rear reservoirs. The fans are loud. After 8 months the tank started leaking. This leads to the worst part: JBJ's customer service. You would think that since the leak was caused by a bug in their product, they would take responsibility and quickly buy a new tank for you to set up and get up and running. No! Don't waste time calling the number listed on the website. Nobody answers. Instead, you get into an automatic loop where you can't leave a message because the box is full. Second, it took them 2 days to reply after I sent the email. Then I was shocked that they didn't spend the night here in the tank. I could take the expensive bill if I wanted to, but that's the rules. You cannot find this policy anywhere on their website. When asked to speak to the manager (by email, I'm still not available by phone), the support agent refuses. So my $300+ cattle started dying. I tried to build a temporary home in a five gallon bucket but the stress was too much. JBJ doesn't care. I think it's company policy: We don't care! We don't care about quality and we don't care about the buyer. Let's see if I want your tank back!
