These brackets seem to be largely adapted to the size of your TV, the possibilities are endless. The big key is the price, and this fits the bill. Came in a fairly small light box which is very good. The assembly does not have to be massive. The materials these parts are made of are steel, but incredibly light. The brackets on the back of the TV are L-shaped, not U-shaped or even square. I had other TV mounts that I bought. In addition, assembly was quick. One more note: It wasn't at the low level you usually see with these mounts (but the cheaper versions can be less reliable, too). It's a very basic device, but it can easily handle a 46-inch TV, which is what we need.
