The stain stays forever!
I would say it will last forever. These cones arrived in perfect condition and the stain lasted for over 2 weeks before completely disappearing. I'm a housewife and I constantly have my hands in detergent and hot water, and henna holds up beautifully. I found that waiting about 1 hour before removing the dried paste worked well and it darkened from light orange to dark brown overnight!
