I wanted a small Japanese knife that would look good in my collection. I found this one, it has really good steel and I love the design. Wow, this knife is really good. Very durable, nothing cheap here, and the sharpness is amazing. I cut the meat into chunks and it just slices through it with no effort. I liked the handle, it's just as nicely made as the blade. I really like how it tapers on both sides of the blade leading to a nice Japanese blade tip. There are no cons, the blade is of high quality, which makes me very happy with the purchase.
