I cut all the boys' hair in my family, 6 inches in total. It's always difficult to clean up afterwards. I've wanted to try one of these for a long time to see if it really helps with cleaning up after a haircut. I am happy to say that this is indeed the case. It's definitely not the prettiest thing to use as it looks a little weird. You definitely could not use it when cutting your own hair. However, in my situation where I cut other people's hair, it works quite well. It collects most of the hair, and then I just gently remove it and throw it in the bin. This will prevent hair from falling all over the place. The cape fits well around the neck, although it was a bit large for my skinny teenage son. I just used a clamp to keep it closed.
