Very good!: Dogs

I like the magnetic switch and the fact that the dog cannot press the switch to turn it off. I use this on a 50-pound Pitbull and almost never have to use a nickname: mostly just a mood to get his attention. Sometimes I use a nickname when he's chasing an armadillo across the street because he doesn't feel any vibrations when he walks, and a nickname is a lot better than chasing him across the street and getting hit by a passing car. The nickname scares him and he stops hunting and he learns not to hunt the animals. The range is more than sufficient, but in my opinion less than stated. I deducted one star because the continuous intensity scale can be moved very easily in my trouser pocket and I therefore have to keep checking the scale to see if it is still where I put it: At around 40, the dog simply notices . If you're not careful, it can rotate on its own and be much higher than you'd like. I've noticed in the past it hit 60 and had to put it back in: luckily I check every time I walk my dog so so far I've managed to avoid hitting higher than I'd like . The 1-2 switch can also be very easily accidentally moved in your pocket, causing the device to stop working until you move it back to position 1. Would rate it 5 stars if the dial had detents or some other way to force it into place rather than rotating on its own.
