Review on 🧦 Expedition Mountaineer Sock in Minus33 Merino Wool 9402 by David Diaz

These socks are not for low temperatures.

I have been wearing these socks for over 3 months now. They are comfortable but not as warm as I would hope. I work as an ironworker in New York and work outside all day. I'm always on the move. I wear these socks with 600g insulated boots. 30-35 degrees my feet get very cold 20-29 degrees my feet freeze 10-20 degrees my feet freeze instantly and tend to get a little wet. Overall good socks for 35+ degrees but not for low temperatures which is what I was looking for. I assumed my feet would stay warm at 25-35 degrees, but that's not the case here. I could only imagine how uncomfortable I would feel if I didn't have an insulated boot.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Piggy bank price
