I've been thinking about getting a kitchen knife sharpener for a long time. I bought this set because it is complete and will suffice for my purpose. This set contains two stones in 4 different grits from medium to fine. After watching the videos and getting a general overview of knife sharpening, I had no trouble using the kit to sharpen my own knives. It is very useful, especially for beginners, to have an angle guide to help me maintain an accurate angle when sharpening. Bamboo base is also good. The non-slip design gives me a safe feeling when using the stones. In general, I am satisfied with the purchase and enjoy using it.
