I wanted to buy a decent knife set but didn't want to spend more than 300 as I'm not a chef. After looking around (both Revain and Off) I decided to buy this set. While I can't be specific about the durability of these knives, I can say they're great so far. I cut all kinds of vegetables with no problem as the knives are very sharp. The block looks great on the kitchen table and I really like the color. The knife handles are extremely comfortable to use and that comes from someone who struggles with typical cutlery as I have large hands. What I like best is the look of the knives. The "stacked" damask look makes them visually appealing to use. Overall I am very pleased with this purchase so far.
