DO NOT BUY!1) Installation CD is NOT, I repeat NO CD! it's about 1/4 the size of a traditional optical disc (think those square plastic 45rpm discs McDonalds gave away with Happy Meals in the '80s). The installation CD is therefore completely unsuitable for every optical drive because it simply does not fit. Therefore, none of the drivers or burning software can be installed, you have to tediously search for them online and try drivers until you find one that works. 2) You can't record in .mp3 format, only .wmv, so you'll need something like ffmpeg to convert the formats if you want something other than .wmv3.) Most importantly, the sound quality is TERRIBLE. TERRIBLE. NOT SUITABLE. Very, very strong distortion (I haven't measured it, but I'll bet my right hand there's well over 20% harmonic distortion going on here), so forget it for good. It might be suitable for recording a circular saw biting sheet steel, or perhaps for recording a cow giving birth, but no more. This product is an absolute disaster in almost every way. DO NOT BUY!
