Amazing wireless headset for gaming/talking/streaming

I was looking for a wireless headset and had no luck elsewhere. I was wary of this headset based on my previous bad experience. I'm glad I went ahead and bought them anyway. You are wonderful. Pros: - Very easy to connect and use - Highly customizable sound and mic quality via the G-Hub app (15 minutes of fiddling around at will and you're always good) - Rugged build yet comfortable to wear - AMAZING range (I can literally get away from the computer through your whole apartment - to the kitchen, bedroom, etc. and still hear in the same quality, and also communicate with friends via vc) - Easy mute button on the back of the headset so you can mute the sound , in case you forgot when you were at the computer - Customizable lights on the front (You can't see them while wearing them, but it's a nice extra touch) - Easy-to-charge USB-C cable - Long battery life (I charge every night up to stay safe, but I wear them all day with no sign of deterioration) Cons: - They take up a USB slot on your computer - To get the full W To have any effect, you need to keep G-Hub running in the background of your computer (doesn't take a lot of processor from what I've seen, and you can use your preferences to set it to autoplay in the background.) Seriously, I'm after a wireless one Headset wanted because I'm tired of the wired headsets whose cables bend the wrong way and lose the sound quality or happen to have other mic quality issues. I'm so impressed with the combination of hardware and software here. Every time I'm chatting up a disagreement with friends and head to the kitchen for some water or a snack, I'm so happy I can continue the conversation. tl;dr Robust wireless gaming headset with long range and great sound/mic quality (especially if you take a few minutes to download the G-Hub and tweak things to your liking). UPDATE: 10/26/2020. I've been using them for a few weeks now and wanted to upgrade after reading some of the complaints. from other reviewers. I'm far from being a music lover but I'm very happy with the sound that comes through this headset. I played around with the software a bit to get a preset sound I like and just stuck with it. Serious audiophiles seem to have trouble with minor adjustments. So if you're looking for a really specific sound, they probably aren't for you. I stream on Twitch and my community has commented that my mic sounds a little worse than my old wired headset. It made sense considering it's not a wired connection, but I also went into the Blue Voice settings in the GHub software and asked for the opinion of a friend who's studying to be an audio engineer. They happily told me that many of the settings in their presets were overdone or just plain wrong, and that removing/adjusting more produced a much tighter overall sound (things like turning off the de-esser and removing the audio gate or compressor since they basically did the same thing) It made the mic a lot better, but I still use my old wired mic when streaming just to be on the safe side as I don't need the convenience of a wireless connection for that. I use them for everything but streaming and the mic is still great for chatting with friends on Discord etc. While I would be concerned about having an awesome mic for streaming, I would invest in a true full desktop mic rather than just using your headset. .-I would like to repeat that I had absolutely no problems with the range. I live in a 900 sq ft apartment and will take it literally anywhere while chatting with friends and haven't had any drop in quality or anything. Any reviews that say they can't move to the other side of the room probably received a defective model and should request a refund. the presets should have worked, but my audio engineer friend is disgusted with some of the choices made in this software and how much the average viewer would have to do to tweak them). In general, the headset is still satisfied. While trying to find a wireless headset that works well enough for me as an average gamer/streamer etc was exhausting, I'm glad this solution actually works.
