The fabric is nice, thicker than I expected for the price and soft enough to make a nice blanket. It darkens a bit but still lets in some light. Without a rubber pad, such. B. heavy curtains, the fabric still lets light through. Helps retain heat from the evening sun. I didn't iron them, just put them in the dryer for 10 minutes and all the creases are gone. I wish they offered a wider version as the 72 inch window has the blinds flat when closed. I think I need a 3rd but I need to order 2 packs where a few inches wider would be perfect would be 5 stars if so I am going to order 2 more sets for the smaller windows in my bedroom.
