Review on 🔧 Lifetime Appliance (2 Pack) Enhanced Upper Rack Adjuster W10350376 for Whirlpool, KitchenAid Dishwasher by Michael Weaver

Unfortunately this is my second time buying this dishwasher part. The first time I bought it was on a different site, Whirlpool W10350376 Rack Adjuster, but it was the same item. I based this review on a similar review I posted there. Positive: The product corresponds to the declaration and completely replaces the original part. (My dishwasher is a Kenmore Elite, model 12769; I cannot vouch for other models.) Unfortunately, the kit does not include instructions on how to remove the original part and install the new one. Instructions would be nice as it's not entirely obvious how to remove it. The good news is that the top rack has two of these installed, so you can use the one you're not replacing as a model to put things back together. To be honest, it's not particularly difficult to assemble. I'm pretty mechanically inclined and was able to figure it out and complete the swap in about 15 minutes without having to go to the online help. There were a few steps that weren't entirely obvious, including a few that required a screwdriver. Unless you're mechanical by nature, be sure to try and find a video online before risking fixing it yourself. Unfortunately, this item is not suitable for the environment in which it will be placed in a dishwasher. The original part that came with my dishwasher lasted about two years. The first substitutions lasted about two and a half. So five stars because it's an OEM part as advertised and one star because it's a piece of junk. Three stars seems fair. Update February 2018: Unfortunately, I'm now an expert on the exchange. This time I had to buy them again after a little over a year. They failed as before. The axles holding the white wheels broke again. Apparently they can't handle all the hot water in the dishwasher. None of this changes my rating. It's still part of the OEM. It's still a piece of junk. Next time I'll try one of the aftermarket parts like this: Non-OEM Dish Rack Insertion Kit W10712394SAP replaces W10712394 for Whirlpool. It's hard to imagine it worked worse. Update June 2018: Another star deduction. The last pair only lasted six months. They just broke again, same thing. I won't buy this again. I am currently trying this non-OEM option ERW10712394 for the W10712394 Whirlpool Rack Adjuster Kit. It came yesterday and I installed it successfully. I don't know how long they'll last, of course, but I can confirm that they fit the top rack of my Kenmore Elite model 12769 dishwasher. For what it's worth, they seem to be better built.
