Eight years have passed since I last purchased a laptop computer. The set includes not just a charger but also a variety of cables and plugs of various shapes and sizes, all housed in a sturdy box made of laminated high-quality cardboard. A standard cardboard box, a laptop, some instructions, and a means of powering up are all that's included. Nowhere else is more affordable. When I first opened the box, I was taken aback by how little the laptop itself cost. You wouldn't anticipate such a shoddy appearance for the price. Still, I imagine you can get it for a good price right now. Next in sequence: The screen has in-plane switching (IPS), and the viewing angles are perfect; but, the screen's color reproduction is noticeably inferior to what I get on my mid-range, 10-year-old monitor. To begin with, the keyboard is a full-fledged one, which is unusual in modern devices. I have no complaints about the quality, which is fairly excellent at the same time. In no way comparable to a Macbook, but also not the worst thing I've ever seen. Dissatisfied with the touchpad, number 3. Absolutely none. A tedious workaround involving the nonexistent "left" and "right" buttons. The touchpad only responds to pressure applied to its lower left or right corners. If you want it to function properly, you have to click on the very edge. All things considered, he tends to be a bit erratic on the job. It's not uncommon to act in ways you hadn't anticipated or to find that your initial attempts at achieving a goal were unsuccessful. 4. Sound? You won't find it anywhere; it doesn't exist. My phone's speakers are probably superior to them. Speech is unaffected, and you can disable music if you prefer. Fifth, the battery was the biggest shock of all. The laptop automatically shuts off with only a 10% charge left on it. I get that it needs to be shut down by 3-5%, but first, I've already done the task right, and second, 10% for a new battery is at least another half an hour of effort. But, if the load is light, 5 hours should enough. The claimed 9 hours appears to be achieved entirely with the lights off and no load. It serves the purpose for which it was purchased, however using this particular instance is not particularly satisfying. You really should get a wireless mouse. Hard labor is required else. I would suggest looking elsewhere if you require a laptop for multimedia purposes.
