So far I love this manicure/ pedicure set. I first bought this set for my 97 year old mother's toenail pedicure. When she came here 5 years ago, I noticed that her toenails were not groomed at all. She had ingrown and thick toenails, especially on her big toes, digging into her toes on both sides. I tried cutting them out but it was too painful for them. When I came across this set I decided to try it out for her. Since I got it, I can completely remove the ingrown toenails on both big toes without causing her any pain. The ingrown toenails were so bad it took me about 30 minutes for each toe to get them out. Her toes are crooked due to arthritis or lack of care, so her other toenails need some trimming to straighten them. I've had to work with them a few times, but I hope they get better when I'm done with them. I also used this kit to manicure her nails and it's a lot quicker than a file. I've also been working on one of my thumbnails that was damaged by a Green-winged Macaw about 20 years ago, leaving a dent the length of the nail. Since then it has never grown normally and has retained an uneven indentation from cuticle to nail tip. Tonight I used one of the tools to smooth out the indentation and then buffed the nail. For the first time in 20 years, my thumbnail looks normal. When I first saw this set I thought it looked like a Dremel tool but I decided to buy this set because it was made for manicure/pedicure. I decided that the speed of the Dremel tool might damage the nails and decided to use this set instead. So far I am very impressed with what I can do with this set. It was helpful for both my mother and me and I highly recommend it.
