I love this gate because it's simple and electrified (so the horse doesn't press on it) and you don't have big, cumbersome swing gates to maneuver with. By guiding just one horse from the herd through the gate, you can create a little space for it to pass through so the other horses don't think they can sneak in too. But especially in frost, internal springs break. Pretty expensive to work with and $$ to keep replacing!
