Height is only 62 inches, not 74.
With a camera on top, the base is only 62 inches tall. It's 65 inches with legs. The tallest I can make is 67.5" (64" with photo-ready legs) with phone holder included. If you need something more legal, buy something else. However, it is big enough for me. It's "solid enough" as long as nothing happens for my $500 camera. The base is almost on top of a sharpening bolt, so I'd recommend putting something underneath if you're shooting in the garden or on gravel. The tripod is very cheap and the quality is better than the price, so I'm satisfied.
