The label says "Be careful not to inhale the filling. If the filling was inhaled, see a doctor." What is this thing made out of? The pillow has an unpleasant odor. Is it safe to have at home? Aside from the health hazard, this product seems well made. I thought , I would like the palm rest as I use it on my desktop but I didn't consider that due to the touchpad (on my laptop) the keys are further apart, this rests the middle of my arm on the palm rest which I found uncomfortable .Luckily the rest is easy to remove!There are black staples under the edge of the cushion that attach the cushion to the table.I removed the staples along the front edge which allowed me to peek between the cushion and the table top (fortunately there is no other glue, which holds the cushion in place.) Then I saw the hex nuts holding the palm rest, which can be easily removed with regular pliers e removed, after which the palm rest immediately came loose. I reattached the front edge, but the remaining original struts would probably hold the pillow securely enough. Now my laptop can stand directly on the front edge, which is much more convenient to use. Now for that smell.
