The foam is perfect for my surfboards. I buy two pairs of 19" spacers to place my boards next to each other, 2x2. Long boards over 9 feet and short boards. Also, no holes have to be made in the coating material. Open the velcro, pull the foam. from the pockets at each end, place the foam on the stand, wrap and secure the velcro sleeve over the foam. I wouldn't use them for anything heavy like a kayak. Thanks also to the seller for getting the second pair out quickly after I informed him that I had only received one of the two pairs ordered.
