I ended up replacing the mesh strap with a clasp strap (black to match the black metal version of this watch) because the mesh strap clasp is questionable, opened and repeated several times dropped watch on floor, often hurt thumb and/or broken nail trying to open it and seemed to pick up a lot of dust/skin pocket/dirt. a new strap cost almost as much as the watch (which wasn't much). It is in order. This is a watch that just amazes you when you look at it. The gold stone dial is beautiful and unique. The stones surrounding the bezel are dark and only slightly shiny at the edges. Supercharged hands glow in the dark for hours, but no better than any other luminous hands of this kind. But thanks to the shape and color of the hands, this watch is really easy to read during the day. The second hand is clearly visible and the crystal is completely flat with no distortion. Nice.
