Before the pandemic, my wife bought half a cow from one of these programs. Delivered during the pandemic, it contained a lot more meat than you might think. Some of this meat needs a real butcher knife if you want to cut through the bone too, so I did a little research and decided to try this one because it has a strong smell and is reasonably priced. It is very sharp and can cut. I wasn't sure what to really expect from a knife this large, but from the balance to the ease of use, the color struck me. The presentation is not neglected either. There's a hook to hang a knife on, because honestly, what kind of knife block does this beast hold? The knife has a hammered finish and a beautiful leather sheath for functionality and presentation. All in all it's a nice but intimidating knife but my wife loves it and that's the main thing.
