Good combination of strength and light weight
Excellent tripod! The fluid head is a real asset that is easy to use. The lever (E) on my tripod [not to be confused with the friction ring on the head, also labeled (E)] completely blocks any movement of the column. This tripod is almost as stable as my old Bogen 3030/Bogen 3063 head tripod, but weighs less than half the weight. If you're already packing a heavy Tamrac bag with a pro DSLR, motor drive and 7 lenses, any weight saving is welcome.
