I bought this camera as a baby monitor for home use and I am very happy with it! Setup was fairly easy, although initially I wasn't aware that when connected to Wi-Fi via the smartphone app, my phone would beep to communicate with the camera, and even though my volume was up, my mute switch was off. so it was quiet. Once I figured out the sound, I was able to connect it to my network with no issues. The picture quality is excellent and it filters out background noise in the room (white noise generator) so I can easily hear when my kids wake up. The night vision is pretty good and you can move the camera to look around from your app (it's almost too easy to move the camera because you just swipe the screen and the camera is responsive so sometimes I accidentally flip the screen and move the camera touch. It would be nice if you could toggle this on and off so the screen can't be touched if you don't want to. But that's a pretty minor issue.) Overall I would definitely recommend this camera , and that's me considering buying a second one!
