Attractive, comfortable chairs for the money

These are good chairs for the money. The seat cushion is attractive and comfortable. Seat back support. The wood is dark colored. Personally, we would have liked them to come in a lighter color. Assembly is not too difficult. You use the hex wrench (included) to screw the seat cushion to the legs. You can do this with an allen wrench but it's a bit tedious, I wish they had used hex or screw head screws which are easier to turn. I used a (manual) drive with an Allen key of the right size, which made the job easier and faster (I bought 6 chairs). You can use an electric screwdriver, but then you have to be careful not to over-tighten the screws and split the wood. Now, freshly assembled, they seem pretty strong. I'll have to wait and see if the screws need to be retightened after some use. This is a common problem with chairs of this type, but not a critical one. It's a little tricky to align the chairs for final assembly. They tell you to place the chair legs on a flat surface like the floor and finish tightening the screws. This means you have to lie on the ground and crawl under a chair to get to the bolts. I found it easier to place the chair (which is new and clean) on a flat table, lower the seat cushion so the legs are level, and then once I'm in the chair, tighten the screws from underneath. It's much easier to do this while seated than crawling under a chair.
