This is a great starter kit! if you are just starting out with wood projects. I started using it almost as much as my miter box and vacuum cleaner. Very easy to use, set tree depth, set bit depth and start working. I am very impressed with the quality of the product, the ease of use and the strength of the connection. I've made many picture frames from 1/2" and 3/4" stock, made 1x2 poplar canvas stretchers from them, built door hardware from 2x4/2x6 scraps, and assembled 1x8s into 16" boards.
