perfect. Run and plugged in the USB from my SONY XAV 5000, concerned about the 3ft length and carplay. Sony recommends not plugging extension cords into the USB, they are long enough already but cannot be installed cleanly and flush. I can confirm in my app that Apple Carplay works great with it when connected to a XAV 5000. The only downside is that the port for plugging in a cable is oddly narrow, in my case it doesn't matter as it's in the center console and I leave the cable plugged in, but when I put it on the dash and unplug the cable many times removing it and plugging it back in, I would be concerned that it might break.
