I LOVE this item and bought it for me and my wife. It can be customized in any way you like or want and is very easy to install. It can be installed on the dashboard (smooth, rough or curved) or on the window. I only have two problems: First, my car is in the sun all day during the day and it's very hot in my car (Texas, and therefore nothing alive can be left in the car!). I get in my car and it's so hot I can't breathe, the AC is trying but it's so hot, the steering wheel feels hot for more than 3 seconds and I put my phone in the holder and the sticky suction cup just comes from the pad that you stick to the dashboard and my cell phone falls into my lap. Now it's VERY easy to put it back on and it's no problem after I put it back on and it only happens when it's very VERY VERY hot. Second problem: one of the rubber pads that compress the sides of the phone has come loose. After that, the phone should not remain in the holder. I'm cheap so I filled it with hot glue and it's almost as good just not as pretty. My wife had no problems with her. Maybe I'm the problem?
