Review on 🧥 Merrell Women's Ellenwood Insulated XS Apparel by Rudy Allen

I've waited a full year to post my review of this coat just to see how it would perform in the different capacities and seasons I wanted to use. This was one of the best purchases I've made for outdoor gear. FITS: I'm 5ft 4in and 110lbs and bought the XS. It fits exactly as I expected. I don't wear many layers, but sweaters or at least cardigans in winter. I didn't find it too tight as other reviews have noted, but keep that in mind when buying a size. If you wear heavier sweaters or a lot of layers, choose a larger size. I would recommend. My layers weren't very thick so the coat fitted really well. WARM: With my small stature, I usually get quite cold after standing outside in cold weather for a long time. Even with thin layers underneath, this coat kept my body warm and the cold wind/air out. I coach high school football and am outdoors March through June. In the Midwest, winter often feels like it's still rolling into April. 2 80 minute games can be a struggle to stay warm during practice. This coat not only keeps me dry but also super warm. STYLE: like a wedding, but practical. This coat was for me. It's flattering when I come to events or client meetings, but not so high quality that I can't wear it to our games when I'm out in the rain/hail/snow and often in strong winds. GENERAL: Would buy again if anything happens to the one I bought in October 2014. Well built, durable, easy to clean if dirt gets on the outside. Highly recommended.
