Not always what is in the name

I used these North Face gloves for a run in South Carolina this morning in the 36 degree weather. They look great but don't warm my hands as much as I expected. The North Face is synonymous with warm gear, but these gloves were a little lacking. My hands weren't icy, but they weren't that warm either. I expected a lot of protection because of the name. It's not always possible to judge by that. Well, we all know the rest. Looks? Brilliant! Protection? Not as much.

Pros

GREAT GRIP. The radiometric articulation keeps the hands in their natural relaxed position. The silicone palm offers excellent grip. The pull tab on the cuff makes it easy to put on and take off.
