Not as deep as you think
It definitely looks cool sitting on my desk with the handles sticking out BUT. Keep in mind that the "grass" only goes up to about 1/4 inch. below the edge of the pot, not to the bottom. Coupled with the fact that the top 1/3 or so is curled and offers no support, this means that stems of any size and weight will tip over due to the lack of grass to support them. It's fun as a Tchotsky table, but functionally it's kind of a failure.
