I ordered these satin hair ties because I needed something to tie my hair up at night to keep it from breaking or stretching. The issue I have with this is that my hair is fine and while the satin material is soft (gets softer after going through the washer and dryer) the bands are a bit heavier and a bit wider than my other hair ties . . I was hoping they were a little thinner, lighter and smoother. If you're looking for something that will hold your hair in place then this should be fine for you, but if you're looking for something that will hold your hair easily at night with a thinner and more flexible elastic then this may not be for you. .
