Fits Moen OneTouch Faucet 87450CSD but o-rings are defective

I replaced the cartridge for my leaking Moen OneTouch Faucet (model 87450CSD). The faucet was leaking from the fitting (drip at the spout). After replacing with either of the two from this purchase, the sprout leak is fixed, but it's dripping heavily from the top of the faucet. The top o-rings on the plastic body of the new cartridge are very loose and will not seal the water properly. Luckily I can remove the o-rings from the replaced original cartridge and put them on this new cartridge to avoid this problem. You can see the photos I took comparing the new cartridge (left) and the original cartridge (right). The new one is a bit shorter overall, but that's ok. I like the new cartridge for its design as it has 3 o-rings on both the outer plastic part of the body and the inner brass part of the barrel. The original cartridge design only has 2 O-rings. I'm assuming more o-rings provide a better seal. But unfortunately the quality control of the new cartridge's outer o-rings is poor as you can see in the photos I took. The top row shows the original cartridge O-rings. The larger is used for the outer plastic case and the smaller for the brass barrel inside the cartridge. The bottom row shows 3 o-rings from a new cartridge and you can see they are slightly different. The largest is at the top of the cartridge so it failed to seal the water drain from the top when I first installed it on my Moen faucet. Learning from this exercise, I think the leaking faucet issue is most likely due to wear on those o-rings. You can see that one of my original smaller o-rings has a nick which is most likely the root cause of my faucet drip issue. The inner brass cylinder is a moving part every time the faucet is used, so its O-rings wear out faster. In this case, water will drip from the tap. The plastic housing is static after installation, so the O-rings on it do not move during normal use. But rubber has a lifespan, so over time it loses its elasticity, causing water to leak from another part of your faucet. If you are seeing water around your faucet body or top, it is most likely due to a problem with the outer o-rings. With that experience, I save a few O-rings for the next time my faucets leak. However, it seems difficult to order o-rings as there are metric o-rings and US standard for their size. Metric are measured in minimeters (mm), and standard are measured in fractions of an inch. I think Moen uses the US standard size so you need to make sure you buy the right size to seal the water. Also, for a drinking water faucet, you need a faucet that is free of toxic materials that can be hard to come by. Even the cheaper option seems to have size differences as the quality control may not be that great.
