This connector kit is perfect for my Ford F150. I unplugged the factory radio, connected them with color coded wires as indicated on the new aftermarket radio, just twisted the wires together and kept them separate to test the system. Once I knew it worked, I removed the connectors from the truck. , and soldered all the wire connections on the workbench and insulated them with 1/8" lengths of heat shrink tubing and hooked it back up to the truck and screwed the new radio into the dash! It all took less than 30 minutes and it worked great for the last month or more. The aftermarket radio sounds much better than the factory radio and now I have bluetooth compatibility.
