Review on Croydex Winster 20x16 Medicine Cabinet: Recessed/Surface Mount, Hang 'N' Lock System, Aluminum by Jennifer Garcia

Not bad, looks good but the design is annoying and buggy

Looks as expected although a little heavier than expected. as a continuous space, which is kind of a shame (previously I had a triple fold that was a continuous space so you could reach out to the other side from whatever section you had open). The doors have a little more resistance when opening than I would like. We just installed it, so I haven't tested if there's anything that can be done about it. It feels stiff and opens slowly. I hate shelf supports! So frustrating! Due to the shape/design of the shelf bracket, you cannot use the lowest or highest openings in the cabinet as the hinges will get in the way (see photo). The shelf placement holes are spaced every 3 or 4 inches which means when there are 2 shelf positions that are unusable due to hinge interference, there aren't many options left! It's annoying. There's no point in them drilling holes in this place when they should know damn well it's useless. You can't even switch to using the standard small pins as only one hole is drilled for each bracket/post. I might end up breaking down and trying to drill my own holes in this thing to fix it, but I don't want to ruin the functionality the cabinet actually has. I also had trouble installing shelves on the near side. on the bathroom wall. We placed the cabinet in the center of our dressing table, which resulted in the cabinet being about 1.5 inches from the wall on one side. Well, it turns out you have to open the door PERFECTLY BACK all the way for the shelves to slide in, so the fact that our setup only lets the door open at a 95 degree angle (guess it here; it might opening a little over 90 degrees) means the shelf opening is about half an inch smaller. The instructions actually recommend tilting the glass shelves and snapping them over the ledge on the shelf support. I tried - and ended up making it - and it was so difficult I thought the shelves would break! The middle shelves are slightly shorter compared to the area they are designed for, making them a little easier to snap into place. The glass parts are almost the same width as the cabinet sections, so there is no wiggle room. This is good in that the shelves stay in place, but it's difficult to get them in place from the start. I would not buy this brand's products again for fear of similar design issues.

Cons
