Review on 🔌 GE 4-Outlet Surge Protector with USB Ports and Safety Features - UL Listed, Long Power Cord, Automatic Shutdown Technology, Circuit Breaker, Warranty - Black, 37465 by Jake Solorzano

This is a perfectly workable surge protector but for my purposes it doesn't suit me. When you plug something into the USB ports, there is a high-pitched electrical hum/whistle. I bought it to put on my headboard and charge my phone overnight so the noise is right in my ears and it can be really annoying when I'm trying to sleep. If you're sensitive to that kind of noise, I wouldn't do it. Also, the bushings don't rotate as you can see from the picture, only the cover around the bushing. I suspect this will keep dust out, but I originally thought you could change the orientation of the forks, which would be more helpful. Other than that, it's a perfectly reasonable add-on, but for the price I paid ($15) I expected it to be better.
