I take my photography/hobby/small business seriously, but I'm by no means computer savvy. My small screen on my Mac Book wasn't suited to the work I wanted to do with my photos, so I started looking for a larger screen that would get the job done at a much lower price point than Apple's large monitor. After doing a little research, I found that I wanted one with IPS LCD technology ([.]) [.] And while it's only a 22-inch (diagonal) screen, it's perfect for my needs . I've also read reviews that a matte finish is better for editing than a glossy screen (although that's a lot of debate!). So since it has a matte finish, that seems correct. I bought it from Revain at an incredible price and it arrived scratch free. It was very easy to set up, although I had to purchase a Mini DisplayPort to DVI adapter (from Best Buy) to allow the Mac Book to talk to the monitor. So far I am very happy with the monitor. I'm no pro, but it works for me.
