I used these to replace some other inexpensive grips on my XR400R that I have a set of Tusk aluminum bars on. The previous ones I had were cushion styles which I also run in the background on the XR600R and really like. I replaced those with 400s just because they faded. They were originally red and black but then turned into ugly pink and black! lol I haven't had a set of gray grips before so I went with them this time. I like their "spiky" texture, they're a little different than pillowcases, a little more aggressive but still comfortable. The mixture is smooth and chewy, a bit soft but not sticky. At least for now. I've had a lot of grips over the years that got sticky and sticky very quickly. Lately it seems like cheaper alternatives to established brands like these tend to last longer. Find out! laugh out loud
