Only works with "short " transmitter
You should only use this with the AutoMeter 2259. The hole in the adapter is not big enough to accept the regular water transmitter block. Bought, widened the hole with a drill and immediately broke off in the engine. I spent the rest of the day pulling the threads out. If you drill a hole, you become dangerously thin. However, I am concerned that the 2259 "flat" transmitter unit is not giving me accurate readings. It is not directly in the path of the water jacket. Doesn't matter? I do not know.
