Good transition between stock and aftermarket. K&N is always of very high quality. They don't strive for cheapness like many other manufacturers. Easy installation in MJ 10 Audi S5 6MT V8. I can't tell if there is an audible difference as I already have non-resonant downpipes and exhaust. Already loud. But it seems to sound more fluid, more fluid. Maybe it's my imagination. If you're thinking of an air intake for your Audi N/A then by all means don't worry about anything other than this filter. The intake is useless on this FSI. The default setting works best.
