This little block looks stronger than it actually is, but I'm happy with it. It has held up well and so far the cat hasn't been able to knock it off the bedside table I put it on. Keep in mind that it can be knocked over as there is no latch or mechanism to hold the water tank in place. So if you hit it with enough force, it will detach from the base. It's actually VERY easy to clean as the top water tank is instantly removable and easy to clean. We used it without distilled water, just filtered the water from the fridge and had no problems. I love how quiet this thing is and it works really well. Moisture in the air made our air purifier panic, thinking we were polluting the air, but otherwise no problem. We sleep better when he's working.
