Review on πŸ“Ί Shockproof Anti-Slip Black Silicone Case for Samsung Smart TV Remote Controller BN59 Series - Lightweight Cover Protector and Skin Sleeve by Jessie Duhon

Turns the TV on/off on some models

Pros: The cover looks very nice, fits the remote as advertised* (but see and keep the remote clean of little kids fingers (anyway One of the reasons we bought it is because our little ones broke the front cover of our previous remote after repeatedly dropping it so it wouldn't slip out of your hands easily, although I don't expect them to offers plenty of protection when it does.(Again, this is $4 flexible silicone, not an Otterbox.) However, there's no back cover and batteries flying around the room when that happens, so is That's a win at least!Cons: My only real complaint/caution is that our particular remote control (Samsung OE version M, BN59-01241A ) has buttons (play/pause, back and power) that are flush with the remote's body, i.e. no separate raised button like many similar models and generics. . They have a small Braille-like protrusion, and in the case of the power button, you basically press the top-left corner of the remote to turn the TV on or off. This results in the case accidentally pressing down on that small protrusion all the time, which is incredibly frustrating. (For example, you reach for the remote, but this action shifts the body just enough that it sometimes pushes against the cornice.) I'm sure this isn't a problem for remotes with raised buttons, as they all look far enough away from the edge for the case to grab the edge but not touch the keys. So be aware that if you have this type of remote control, it could also be a problem for you. If not, I am sure you will be very satisfied!
