Review on ONeill Youth Reactor 2 Wetsuit Black by Cody Cobbs

Firstly the fit is very poor, the size is perfect for my 8 year old, he is around the 50th percentile for height and weight, the suit is a bit long in the leg but that's ok , he goes into it. Unfortunately, it's so baggy and loose that it doesn't even work. A wetsuit keeps a thin layer of water between the skin and the suit, which heats away from the body to keep the wearer warm. This costume just hangs on my son who is again 8 years old and a 50% percentile kid. Even in a year or two he would outgrow the length, but he would have nowhere to fill a suit unless he got fatter. Second, the design of the costume lacks a small velcro strap to prevent the zipper from opening by itself. After two surfs and a couple of swims in the pool, his zipper would unzip each time, allowing the water to flow right in and through the suit. It makes it harder and can even put you at risk of drowning. Don't buy this wetsuit, look at other brands. I just bought a Billabong costume for my daughter, it fits like a glove and the best quality of design.
