The Skeptical Cable Guy

I have to admit I'm a little skeptical about the best cables. But I got to the point that further modernization of the equipment brought serious money. For example, I found the perfect tube preamp for $25,000 and the perfect mono blocks for $17,000 each. This is too much for me now. I have decent systems but not the best. I started looking at these cables just to test them out, hoping there was a slight improvement. So $70 is a lot cheaper than $59,000. I was pleasantly surprised that these evergreen cables really make a difference compared to $5-$10 cables. With the evergreen cables, the music seems a bit clearer and smoother; enough to get noticed. stop guessing I suppose if you like metal-rock music or music that uses "creative distortion" you're better off going with cheaper cables.
