I got this in emerald green for the Marine Corps Ball and I can tell you. I never write reviews but this dress was amazing. Shipping was fast and packaged very well to protect the dress. I'm 5'4" and about 150 lbs and medium height. I had the dress professionally tailored which was pretty easy with this dress. I hemmed it and then adjusted the back of the corset slightly as the boning too were long for my short torso. But he had a corset with a full tie, which I thought was amazing and beautiful. The material by no means looked cheap or tacky, at least for emerald green. With a full corset, he had real bones, which was amazing. The Underwires ran all the way around the torso and actually created a bra-like structure.I'm 36D and have never worn a bra,no lace nothing which is a true miracle to me!(there were no slips).It had too adjustable straps but I felt like the corset really held the dress.I felt totally confident and honestly didn't want to take it off!The gap is perfect you are covered, without having to worry about the peep-a-boo moment. But it makes the going a lot easier and adds a little spice. If you are looking for a sign to buy this dress, THIS IS IT. Looking for an excuse to wear this dress again!
