I followed the recommended usage instructions and even with light pressure for 60 seconds (as recommended) the 1st mirror I used cracked in the middle of the mirror. There was nothing wrong with the way I attached the point mirror, just the poor quality of the mirror material. I was able to attach the 2nd mirror, but for how long? I don't know because I just peeled off the 3M double-sided tape and stuck it on the surface of the cleaned rearview mirror. I was afraid that if I followed the instructions I would break it.
