HP is tricky. He installed a chip on the cartridges that made it impossible to print without it. And even smarter. Although this product is advertised, it comes with instructions on how to remove and install the chip, including tools. Please note that this tool is a pair of tweezers. The chip, at least in my case, was glued to the cartridge, making it impossible to remove it without destroying the chip. So don't be a loser like me. Since I hate paying huge bucks for HP OEM cartridges, I seem doomed until I come across a removable chip. I can't imagine there wasn't one anywhere. Very upset. Also, my return window has expired, so I just lost a few tens of dollars.
