Review on Bedding Storage Reusable Blanket Comforter by Charles Jenkins

Vacuum bag set arrived in a plastic bag with a sticky resealable lid. The set includes 4 large bags, a page with instructions in German and English and 8 straps to close the vacuum bags. Tabs come in their own smaller, resealable Ziploc packaging. The product is made in China. These are really big bags (47" by 40") and the bag size doesn't change much after vacuum sealing. I wanted them to store large blankets and RV blankets that aren't used unless we're traveling. The bag easily held a full size comforter, a comforter and a set of sheets. You can use these bags in two different ways. You can squeeze out the air manually for shorter storage or use a vacuum cleaner for longer storage. I used a vacuum cleaner as my items needed to be stored for a longer period of time. I cannot confirm the effectiveness of manual air removal as I have not tried this approach. Before vacuuming, you must close the lid. The top contains a top ziploc and a bottom ziploc. The bag closure tabs didn't work very well. The tabs covered the top zip well, but weren't long enough to effectively cover the bottom zip. I had to put my fingers through the bottom zipper to close it. The bottom zipper closed well after I closed it by hand. The vacuum worked very well and the items in the bag were about ¼ the height of their original size after vacuuming. The pouches performed exactly as I expected and have stayed sealed so far. The downside of these bags for me was that they were too big to fit comfortably. They are too wide to fit on the shelves of our closets. I would recommend measuring your storage space and making sure these bags fit your space.
