Review on Mr. Pen- Owl Shaped Pencil Sharpener: Fun and Cute Manual Sharpener for Kids and Colored Pencils by Morgan Gilmore

4 months update/15. January 2021: I was pleasantly surprised by this cute little owl sharpener! It will continue to sharpen hard-tipped and graphite crayons to a good point with ease. The drawer didn't go missing as expected, but it didn't get any easier to remove and reinsert to empty. My 4 year old daughter has found it easier to remove pins as she has a lot more practice now. Everything is intact and holding up much better than I initially thought. Upgraded from 3 to 5 stars. Original review September 21, 2020 This is a really cute sharpener that works well: easy enough for a 4 year old to use. It's a bit difficult for her to pull out the pen. I have no problem with it though, I think it's just user error and it just doesn't pull straight out. It's nice, it sharpens hard lead pencils and crayons to good sharpness but not dangerous sharpness. And it comes with a fun mustache sticker! Hooray! I'm starting my review with three stars because it feels really cheap, it's ALL plastic and the shaving drawer is pretty difficult to remove and doesn't really hold much. I honestly see that it will soon lose its place because it is difficult to deal with after about 5 pins when there is a lot of fun sharpening! If it's still intact and working in my 3 month update (yes, I'll keep an eye on my rating for updates) then I'll upgrade it to 5 stars!
